We believe in fair treatment and transparent processes. Here's everything you need to know about our refund procedures.
1 Eligibility for Refunds
Our mobile cooking service comes with straightforward refund options. You can request a full refund if you cancel your booking at least 24 hours before your scheduled session. We get it – plans change, and life happens.
For same-day cancellations, we offer a 50% refund because we've likely already started food prep and committed our chef's time. If we need to cancel due to chef illness or equipment issues, you'll receive a full refund within 2-3 business days.
Weather Policy
Severe weather conditions that make travel unsafe result in automatic full refunds. We monitor weather forecasts closely and will contact you proactively if conditions look concerning.
2 How to Request a Refund
Getting a refund is simple. Call us at (905) 430-2609 or email info@pizzapzza.com with your booking confirmation number. Our team typically responds within 2 hours during business hours.
We'll ask for basic details: your name, booking date, and reason for cancellation. No lengthy explanations needed – we keep it straightforward and respect your time.
3 Processing Timeline
Here's exactly what happens after you request a refund:
- Immediate: We confirm receipt of your request and provide a reference number
- Within 24 hours: Our team reviews and approves eligible refunds
- 1-2 business days: Refund is initiated back to your original payment method
- 3-5 business days: Funds appear in your account (varies by bank)
Credit card refunds usually show up faster than debit card returns. We'll send you an email confirmation once the refund has been processed on our end.
4 Special Circumstances
Sometimes things get complicated. If you're not satisfied with our service quality, we'll work with you to make it right. This might mean a partial refund, credit toward future bookings, or a complimentary return visit.
For dietary restrictions we couldn't accommodate due to miscommunication, we typically offer full refunds plus a credit for future use once we've sorted out the details.
Group Bookings
Large group cancellations (8+ people) require 48 hours notice for full refunds due to the additional planning involved. We're pretty flexible though – just give us a call to discuss your situation.
Corporate events and holiday bookings may have different terms, which we'll clearly explain when you make your reservation.
5 Payment Methods & Returns
Refunds go back to whatever payment method you originally used. Credit cards are fastest – usually 2-3 business days. Debit cards can take up to 5 business days depending on your bank.
If you paid cash (rare, but it happens), we'll need to coordinate either an e-transfer or mailed check. Cash refunds require additional verification for security reasons.
Gift certificate purchases are refundable within 30 days if unused. After that, they're non-refundable but remain valid for one year from purchase date.
